In this course students will be introduced to higher level techniques for building and updating a website using HTML. This course will focus on the advanced aspects of the HTML programming language including lists, tables, layouts, forms, frames, cascading style sheets, and metadata. After taking this course, the student will have a comprehensive understanding of how to best utilize HTML and take full advantage of its capabilities.

Course Access Time

Students are given 3 months to complete the program. Extensions are available if needed, fees may apply.

This course is designed for students with limited HTML experience who want to learn some of the more advanced HTML elements and techniques. It is suggested that students complete HTML Introduction before taking this course.


Computer: Processor 2 GHz and up; 512MB RAM and up; Printer for printing scores and Certificates of completion; Resolution of 1024x768 and up.

Operating System: PC - Windows XP SP3 and above; MAC - OSX 10.6 and above, Internet browsers IE v8 and above, Mozilla Firefox v11.0 and above, Safari 5.1.10 and above; Network connection of 1.5Mbs or better; the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player plugin for desired internet browser.

Additionally, you may need to go to Adobe Support and select Always allow to run the training; after selecting Always allow, you may close the Adobe page and the change will be saved.
