Overview


Our Automotive Technician Exam Prep course prepares students to sit for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A1-A8 and L1 certification exams. This course outlines specific ASE tasks and content related to their diagnosis, maintenance, and repair. Students will practice with pretests and ASE style exam questions to fully prepare for the exam and become familiar with its format. Learn the knowledge you need to master these ASE certification exams today!



After completing this course, you should be able to:



Identify the steps for diagnosing and repairing engines and engine performance

Identify the steps for servicing automatic and manual transmissions, drive trains, and axles

Identify the methods for diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering, and brake systems

Identify the steps for troubleshooting automotive electronic systems

Identify the steps for servicing automotive air conditioning and heating systems

Students are given 6 months to complete the program. Extensions are available if needed, fees may apply.

Dial-Up internet connections will result in a diminished online experience. Moodle pages may load slowly and viewing large audio and video files may not be possible.

Windows hardware configurations and processors are acceptable

Mac computers MUST have Microsoft Window Operating Systems over Bootcamp (Bootcamp is a free download from Apple''s website)

1 GB RAM minimum recommended
